The Indigenous Sports Council of Alberta is on a mission to raise the standard of fitness of Indigenous people in North America. To help them do just that, we were tasked with developing visual identity and messaging guidelines that could be used in a wide range of marketing and collateral.
Branding & Positioning
We approached this engagement with inspiration from the Indigenous people’s history, culture, traditions, and values. Our mood boards consisted of symbolic and recognizable Indigenous and Albertan symbols like wildflower, mountains, eagle feathers, and wheat. Together, these elements were paired with a strong typeface to create an empowering and memorable logo.
Along with a re-designed logo, we developed a brand playbook which highlighted the ISCA’s key values, voice & tone, personality, font, photography, and brand applications to help inform brand communications.
Our final delivery was brand collateral including refreshed business cards and letterhead designs.
